The Bothy

The Bothy is a community recovery and wellbeing hub that dedicates its service to improving the lives of those that have been affected by substance misuse as well as for their family and friends. The purpose of The Bothy is to equip community members with knowledge and support to understand that recovery is possible for all, no matter where they are in their journey. To be able to achieve this we will ensure that we will remain a beacon of hope in the community which has seen many families and friends go through grief after seeing their loved ones die through substance misuse. What we do:

Support Options: 1. Peer support 2. 1-2-1 support 3. Wellbeing training and activities 4. Signposting and chumming people to appointments (if needed) 5. Campaigning for appropriate service provisions 6. Mutual Aid groups and recreational activities 7. Offer a safe space free of drugs and alcohol. 8. Training, volunteering opportunities and support to those in a voluntary
