NEDAC Complex and Mulitple Needs Service

A non time-limited mental health visiting- support service for individuals with low mental health, drug and alcohol use and multiple vulnerabilities. Predominately older drug and alcohol users who are isolated, not engaging with treatment and support services, and are generally suffering from anxiety and depression or severe and enduring mental health conditions. Providing support that positively impacts the health and well-being of those who are traditionally difficult to reach and reluctant to engage. Currently telephone, text and online support due to COVID restrictions.

Support Options: Online/ telephone support; for those at highest risk; support client's in own homes (where appropriate); support with medical treatment

Referral Methods: Professional referrals: Our referrals will largely be from GP’s, social workers, CPN’s, local drug and alcohol recovery hub services.
